    Hi,
I read your book over Christmas and found it extremely enjoyable! Great to see you are doing some more standup dates(s)? or is Bristol a one off? I am a bass player living in Southend. I will make the trip to Bristol though if it is the only date..

    Looking forward to it.
    regards
    John

Oh bloody hell, Guy – every time you say it’s the last ever show, I dutifully turn up and suffer a degree of acoustic trauma but still enjoy the gig, happy knowing that at least I was there for the last hurrah. Then….

*then* you go and set another one up with a bonus Q+A! Will this madness ever end?

    Mr Pratt,

Any chance of a return to Australia in any professional capacity? Had a cracking good time at both your recent tours down under (for Animals and Breakfast). Would love to see either show again, or of course see you play in your capacity as International Bass Hero.

    Regards,
    Jeremy Dylan

As an addendum to the above:
You said in a recent interview that the Adelaide show had been professionally recorded. Any chance of a DVD/CD release? Or even an audio book version of ‘My Bass and Other Animals’? Either would be extremely welcome.

Having been a long-time listener to your radio show, Guy (and it’s missed, believe me), I’d have to say that an audio version of the book for those of us who haven’t been able to travel to one of your shows would be pretty epic. Your ‘radio voice’ would go well with such a project.

    Just sayin’. :)

    Cheers,
    Nix.

Really enjoyed the show in Bristol last night – last time I saw you was on stage at The Mermaid with David and the band for Radio 2. A shame about the so-called “president of the Pink Floyd fan club”, but maybe he was the alternative idiot.
Thanks for coming down and giving us a lot of laughs, some great musicianship, and some amazing tales. And, as the purchaser not the publisher (though maybe it’s an idea!), when are you going to write the next book?

    Hi Guy,
Have just surfaced (11.48) following my return to Southend, after a brilliant nights entertainment at your show in Bristol! Shame about the T*** president…? You handled him really well. My Aussie mate enjoyed and empathised with the Australian content!

I spoke to you briefly before leaving, and you mentioned something about doing some music for Adventure Island in Southend? Hope you do another show nearer London soon. Keep up the good work.

    regards
    John (Bass player – Southend)

Just a quick note to say thanks for a great show in Bristol last night – here’s hoping you get the Roxy gig – if not – Sid was right

If you do it will be the first time ever when the same rhythm section has appeared on two different tours – so go on make history and no I am not president of a fan club

    Cheers

    Richard

    Hi Guy
Just caught Run Like Hell with Jon Carin and Durga and of course yourself…brilliant the goosebumps are still running down the spine!!!
It seemed like a great gig…hopefully you might all have the chance to do more of the same.
Thanks also for drawing our attention to Brian Cox, his tv series on the solar system was great and he is a first class presenter..more of the same of that as well!
    Best wishes
    from Heather
