Only diference is type of pickup, on Jazz is classic single coil, on Precission is splitted, and position is not quite the same...but Im not shure how much that can affect the sound, those basses are very similiar techically, beside pickups. I was actualy made one record for album, on Jazz with only neck pickup ON, just for test, and its sounds...well i duno :) interesting. @Guy: Can we hear any experiences about that from great master?
